The above lyrics from a new favorite worship song (written by a new favorite worship leader Michelle) help me get my heart and mind straight before the Lord. "How is it between us? Lord, how is it between us?"
Another fave, this time by Sara Groves, gets me questioning, searching, for Him. Have I strayed? Become lazy? Overwhelmed with "busy"?
A relationship takes time. Time spent is most im-por-tant.
I haven't been spending actual, real time with You and Your Word.
And You are what's real in me.
Apart from You is... anger, annoyance, entitlement -
